Entry requirements summary
Applicants for the 2 year course require relevant HE study leading to a Level 4 qualification, for example an appropriate HNC, or 120 credits from year 1 of an undergraduate degree (BA/BSc), in a relevant subject.
Applicants for the 1 year course require relevant HE study leading to a Level 5 qualification, for example an appropriate HND, foundation degree or Advanced Diploma, or 240 credits from year 1 and year 2 of an undergraduate degree (BA/BSc), in a relevant subject.

English language requirements
For year 2 entry applicants require English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 5.5 with no component score below 5.5. For year 3 entry applicants require English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 with no component score below 5.5.
For 2 entry applicants require 72 with a minimum of 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking and 17 in Writing. For year 3 entry applicants require 79 with a minimum of 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking and 17 in Writing.
For year 2 entry applicants require an overall score of 51 with a minimum of 51 in each skill. For year 3 entry applicants require an overall score of 54 with a minimum of 51 in each skill.
For year 2 entry applicants require an overall score of 3 with a minimum of 3 in each component. For year 3 entry applicants require an overall score of 4 with a minimum of 3 in each component.
For year 2 entry applicants require an overall CAE score of 47 with a minimum of Borderline in each skill. For year 3 entry applicants require and overall CAE score of 52 with a minimum of Borderline in each skill.
An overall CPE score of 45 or above with a minimum of Weak in each skill.
For year 2 entry, applicants require an overall score of 162 with no component score less than 162. For year 3 entry, applicants require an overall score of 169 with no component score less than 162.
For year 2 entry applicants require Trinity College Integrated Skills in English (ISE) Level II with a Pass in all 4 components. For year 3 entry applicants require Trinity College Integrated Skills in English (ISE) Level III with a Pass in all 4 components.
A minimum of 6.0 in the European Baccalaureate English Language 1.
